- Maximum improvement was observed in mild form of dry eye in all parameters
- The increased benefits of treatment in the mild group suggest that cyclosporine when used in the early treatment of dry eye disease may yield the best results

- DEWS (Dry Eye Work Shop) have recommended incorporating anti-inflammatory drug along with artificial tears from Level 2 Dry Eye onwards.
- Cyclosporine is the only anti inflammatory drug which USFDA approved for the management of dry eye.
